What Is The Difference Between Internet Markering And MLM Marketing?

Learning to market online is admirable for MLM Marketers but one
of the biggest problem arises when they attempt to market their
MLM Business, using Internet Marketing techniques.

I'm writing this article to give those who are using the
Internet Marketing techniques to promote their MLM business a
better understanding of the process.

With your "MLM Marketing" business, the first task at hand is to start
prospecting for leads. You then build a relationship with these
leads, turning them into your Team Members for the long term
profits.

Now, with "Internet Marketing", your prospect could like what you
are offering and make a one time purchase. You may never hear
from this person again, unless you have a way to capture their
Name and Email address.

The difference between the two is; with "MLM Marketing", we are
looking for prospects who are interested in sharing our
opportunity with us. So the MLM Marketer has to generate as much
targeted leads as he can. There is no "SELLING HERE".

People surfing on the Internet are not looking to purchase
anything. They are looking for information to help solve what
ever problem they may be facing. Trying to sell your MLM product
or business opportunity, is the quickest way to go broke.

As a matter of fact, trying to sell your business opportunity or
product, is the cause of 97% failure.

So it's a big difference between "Internet Marketing" and "MLM
Marketing". But we still have to combine the two to be successful.

"MLM Marketing" is a long term investment. It takes time for that
residual income to start flowing the way you want it to. But we
still need money to do the things we want to do! We have a
family to take care of. We also need money to advertise our
business.

Here is where we are going to combine the two methods. And I
think this is the fine point that causes people no to be able to
differentiate between the two systems.

Since the residual income is going to take a while before we can
see real results, we have to put in place what is called a
"Funded Proposal". This funded proposal is a system that allows
you to make money up-front, "cash" from those prospects who are
going to say no to your opportunity. This is where Internet
Marketing comes in.

97% of your leads will not join your Business opportunity for
many reasons. So we capitalized on this 97%, by selling them a
product, a course or some tool that is relevant to your
business. As a matter of fact, you don't sell them. They sell
themselves.

As long as your product is compatible with you Business, it is
going to sell. These people are targeted leads, remember? They
were interested in your offer, that is why they sign-up with you
in the first place.

This is how you use "Internet Marketing" to fund your long term
business. With this system in place, you could be making 10-15K
Monthly, depending on your skills. But this money is not for you
to spend just yet. It to help fund your business for the long
term. That is why it is called funded proposal.

The benefits of this system to you is; You have generated a list
of paying customers. They did not join your Business
opportunity, but they help to fund your business for the long
term. And anytime in the future you have a product that is along
the same lines, just send out a mailing and watch cash rolling
in!

If you are unable to generate some cash,up-front, to promote
your MLM Business, eventually you will end up broke. You will be
cursing your self and saying MLM don't work. You would be right;
because it is you who have to work it!

Now! Your job is not finish. You have generated a list of leads
who have not join your Team as yet. There are just leads if we
allow them to stay as just leads.

Here is where building a relationship with these people comes
in. You must continue to market to these people, through
educating them. You must be able to convince them that your
Business opportunity is the right one for them to join. Give
them whatever resources you have to inspire them to take action.
This is your long term investment. Take care of it.

"MLM Marketing" is much more than just the basic "Internet
Marketing". But "Internet Marketing" is used to keep you in the
game for the long term. Without this understanding, I could not
be in Business today. I would still be depending on my "pension"
for support alone.
