How Using A Strategic Marketing System Will Save Your MLM Business
If you are trying to build your MLM business online and you are not using a Strategic Marketing System to help you then you will struggle BIG time.
What do I mean by a Strategic Marketing System?
Before I go into the details lets first address what you may be doing at present if you are not using a system.
Perhaps you will relate better if I told you what I was doing to build my business before I started using a Marketing System.
I was,
- Promoting my companies replicated web site and referring all my leads to it.
- Talking to everyone on my social networking sites about my company and it’s fantastic line of products
- Breaking down the sensational Compensation Plan so that everyone I talked to, even a 3 year old, could understand it
- Writing article after article promoting my business and products
BUT THEN THINGS CHANGED FOR THE BETTER……..OR DID THEY???
I joined an Network Marketing educational program which (CORRECTLY) taught me I was doing the wrong thing by promoting my company, my products and my compensation plan. It taught me about Attraction Marketing.
So I went to work again, full of inspiration and renewed hope only to find my progress was still very slow. I was no longer falling into bad habits but the success ratio’s were still very low.
I was,
- Using Ezine Articles
- Involved in Digg
- Using Facebook, MySpace, Twitter
- Writing Hub pages
- Establishing a Blog
- Writing more Squidoo articles.
- Making video’s
Despite the new teachings, writing Squidoos, Hubs, Ezines, Blogs is not the entire answer to online marketing. If you want your business to move faster you have to actually market yourself in more ways. I was placing content on the internet hoping someone would find it and relate to what I was saying and magically want to join my business. Clearly this was not happening.
THEN I DID FIND THE ANSWER……...FINALLY
What I found was a Strategic Marketing System which taught me that Attraction Marketing was only one part of the jigsaw puzzle.
The important lesson for me was that if I was to be successful in my business I would have to do more than wait for people to find me…..I actually had to undertake some OUTBOUND MARKETING.
So this is what I do now,
- Joined a dedicated Lead Generating and Strategic Marketing System
- Leverage other peoples experiences within the group
- Use Auto-responders
- Joined groups in FaceBook
- Post articles and videos on FaceBook and MySpace
- Changed my entire FaceBook and MySpace profiles
- Learned about My Story Marketing and applied it to my MySpace page.
- Started to use a Sales Funnel with a Self Funded Proposal to pay for my marketing cost
- Joined some forums
- Used a list builder
- Know how, when and where to market
- Know how to budget my marketing costs
- Know how to market for free is most instances
- Use the power of affiliate programs to provide multiple streams of income
- Use Google Adwords – this is a big one
- Use cheaper Adwords programs – they are out there.
- Use solo ads
- Use Banner ads
- AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON AND ON
The bottom line is you actually need to use a wide range of outbound Marketing techniques to build your MLM business PLUS you have to spend some money doing so.
If you learn what to do, how to do it and have inbuilt infrastructure behind it, your MLM business will benefit greatly from the support a dedicated Lead Generating, Systematic Marketing System will give you.
One thing I can most assuredly tell you and that is…..if you don’t seek some assistance from someone or something, you will struggle big time, blow a great deal of money and fall out of the industry much worse off.
The Solutions For Success in your MLM business lies within a Marketing System.
