Interviewing Prospects in Your MLM Business
Interviewing Prospects in Your MLM Business
It is important to interview prospects as they call you or send you an email for your MLM business. The reason you have to interview is because most are just the type of people who are looking but who are not serious. You do not want to spend your time with those who are not seriously looking for an opportunity.
When you are working in MLM and building your business it is important to get to the qualified lead instead of wasting time with those who are not ready to do a business. They are what are known in the business as the "tire kickers" because they act like they are in a car lot. They look at a bunch of opportunities just to look. They kick the tires and then move on to the next opportunity.
Interviewing your prospects is also a screening process so that you don't have to spend time with people who are not interested. You can ask them a series of questions in the beginning and if they show they are not interested you move on to the next person.
You are also looking for those people who could be content to earn more than $1,000 each month and who are willing to work to get that. Many people who look at MLM opportunities fall into the hype instead of realizing that they must work an MLM business like a REAL business in order for it to work well.
If you have a team full of people who are working hard to make their goals and one or two in the team who just don't need that much money, then you will have a lopsided team. You want people who will move and shake -- you do not want those who want a social group.
Although your MLM can be a social group, you want to make sure that they are involved in the business first. In a pre-interview you can also make sure that the individual has the money to invest in their business and that they are willing to work.
A person who is not willing to work their own business will not have a successful MLM business. They may seem like they have potential but if they are not ready, they will not do well. Interviewing prospects will save you a lot of headache in the long run.
