How Many Quitter’s Do You Know—Maybe You’re a Quitter!

We’ve been building our online travel business for about 5 years now and it amazes me the number of people who Quit Before They Even Try!

You know I have tried many different strategies to building my business. I finally did find one that works…more on that later. But it just “ticks” me off the one’s who work so hard in the beginning only to “die out” when they’re right at the “edge” of success.

Maybe they got tired of waiting. Maybe they got tired of the work involved. Maybe they just got sick and tired. But these are the same people who will go out and give 110% to another venture and just quit right before success….hmmm I wonder why?

I can’t recall the nights I’ve sat up working my business until I can’t see straight. But I knew I was on to something so I didn’t quit. Am I different than the next guy? I don’t think so. I just think that in my mind I was NOT going to quit. I was on the ten year plan…if it took me ten years of working my business to be a success it still was a whole lot less time than the 30 or 40 I’d have to put in at a regular “Just Over Broke” (JOB)

Maybe you have in your mind, “Well, I’ll give it 6 months…if it doesn’t work…I’ll quit”. Wrong! Please do yourself a favor. Don’t spend the money to join a business if you’re only going to give it 6 good months. You’re wasting your time; you’re wasting your sponsor’s time.

Now, if you’ll commit 5 good years with me or any business then you will have success. I don’t mean commit and then sit back and wait for something to happen. I mean commit and work it like you’ve never worked anything in your life….you will not regret your decision.

OK, so why do people quit? Here are some reasons that come to mind:

  1. You quit because you joined because of a friend and you wanted to make them happy. You really didn’t want to do it in the first place.

My comment: Don’t do this! Your friend loses, you lose. If your friend is currently in a business and approaches you about it then research it and join because you know it’s a good thing.

  1. You quit because there’s more work involved than you thought. You don’t want to miss American Idol or House and this business takes away your TV time.

My comment: Yes, there’s work involved. But it’s working for you; for your freedom. So turn the TV off and get to work.

  1. You quit because your friend quit.

My comment: Now that’s the stupidest reason I’ve ever heard. They give up on their dreams so you do too? What! You’d jump off a bridge because they did? Another hmmm.

  1. You quit because your sponsor didn’t return a phone call.

My comment: Go up-line, find somebody to work with. Another dumb excuse!

  1. Your family and friends laughed at you.

My comment: Find some new friends…no just kidding. Just prove them wrong and work it harder than ever. That’s what we did and guess what; now those same family and friends are joining us.

So if you’re thinking of quitting remember that you’re quitting on you. Not anybody else. You’re giving up on your dreams not mine, not your families, not your friends.

Start your dream board. Mentally picture YOU financially free in 5 to 10 years. If it comes sooner that’s great. But if it takes that time you’re still within your goals. Me? We’re on the 10 year plan. Is it happening already for us? ABSOLUTELY!

Think of all of new people you’re meeting. Make it fun. If somebody says, No; move on. Keep going until you find enough Yes’s to fulfill your dream, your goals.
