Using Social Network Marketing to Grow Your MLM Business

Using social networks like Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube can be a great way to sponsor new distributors into your network marketing business. But, you've got to go about it in the right way, or your social network marketing efforts won't add much to your MLM team.

Think of the social networking sites as a big, fun party where you can meet and mingle with people that share your interests. Would you try to recruit someone into your MLM business right when you meet someone at a party in real life? Not if you're smart. The first step is simply to get to know someone.

After getting to know someone a little, maybe you invite them over to your place next week for a barbeque. There, you wine and dine them further, building the relationship. Eventually, you talk to them about your MLM, but only after you've offered them value first. In the online world, you do the same thing by inviting them to your blog or personal website... that's the barbeque where you give them free stuff and build trust.

Social network marketing operates on a much larger scale, though, with many more people than you'd see at a friendly get-together. So, you need to develop content that makes you stand out as "the life of the party." Not literally, but figuratively... draw people to you.

In summary, to build your MLM business using social network marketing, you need to put your MLM behind the scenes, and focus on being friendly, helpful, and popular at the big party.
