Network marketing is a powerful tool that the average person can use to leverage time and resources, to become a successful business owner. Even with the ability to become successful many people are still struggling at network marketing. Some industry statistics say upwards of 95% of network marketers fail to succeed. Also the average number of people that a network marketer brings into there downline is 2.5. We all know regardless of your network marketing company you need to recruit more then 2.5 people to be successful. So how is it that such a powerful tool like network marketing doesn’t allow people to succeed?
I’m going to assume all of you reading this believe in your head and heart that network marketing does and can work. So what does that leave if we take network marketing out of the picture? It leaves the human variable. The human variable is the difference between having a successful network marketing business or being part of the 95% that fail to cover their expenses every month. Here are the top six variables that people can’t overcome.
Sacrifice: It’s hard to start a network marketing business, work full time, take care of a family, and do every other little thing that is required. So the only way a business will work is for you to find a way. This means giving up T.V shows, partying, video games, and other time consuming tasks.
Self-Discipline: Many of us want to start a business for the freedom of it. We can work when, where and, how we want. This is a great reason to start a home business but, the downfall is….It’s way to easy to say I don’t feel like working on my business today. One day turns into two then next thing you know you haven’t work on your business in two months. If you want to start a business you have to be an adult and hold your self accountable for your actions.
Invest In Yourself: Network marketers must always improve because remember you are your business. The better you become at marketing, networking, and giving value to people, the better results you will get.
Time: This is not a reason people fail, this is an excuse. If you have no time to work your business look at what you are doing with your time. What can you cut out of your life thats not productive? If you must cut back on the sleep you get! Remember how bad do you want to be successful.
Bad Upline: Yes network marketers can struggle because they have bad uplines, it’s true. Always remember you are in control of your network marketing business. It is up to the business owner to recognize the problem and fix it. This could mean leaving a company or reaching out for help to other leaders in that company.
You Have To Want It: Nothing is given to you in network marketing. Many network marketers are driven and motivated people. Who desire nothing but the best and don’t settled for anything less. You have to get in the same mindset if you are going to make your business successful.
Network marketing is a powerful tool for anyone who wants to become successful. At the same time it’s like everything in life it takes work to make it work.
