Ambit Energy Review

As I'm sure you already know, Ambit Energy is one of the most popular electric network marketing opportunities nationwide. Services are currently offered in Texas New York and Illinois.

Although there is alot that goes behind the scenes of the business, the money making activities can really be broken down to just 3 steps.

1. You have to sell the service, thus being electricity.

2. You're going to have to build your organization- that means sponsoring new distributors or building your downline

3. The last step would be teaching your distributors on how to duplicate the process

Sounds pretty basic, but from what I seen many Ambit distributors struggle to do just that.

The problem lies in the way the service is being promoted by many distributors.

Many new Ambit consultants have no clue on how to do just that. They never marketed before.

It's their first time in a network business opportunity. They were simply sold on the idea of how easy it was going to be to make a lucrative living selling electricity but no marketing skills were ever taught, so they end up following the old school approach of selling, that is chasing down family and friends, knocking on doors, posting flyer's on car windows and even doing some cold calling. 

Although this approach work great 20 years ago, in today's world, techniques such as these simply make you look like a desperate salesman.

I see it happen almost everyday consultants selling the opportunity but not once ever giving the marketing training necessary to succeed. And when they don't get the results they're looking for it only leaves them wondering if Ambit Energy was the right business opportunity to begin with.

You know its funny how those who succeed and make several thousand dollars per month with Ambit Energy say it's the best thing they could have done for their family and financial future, and those who fail and quit say the opposite. To them it just another scam. So they quit. They lose the initial start up costs of $400.00 dollars - plus their time, so I guess its only natural to give the company a bad rap.

Here's what I recommend you do.

Talk to a couple of Ambit Reps. You might even consider connecting with former distributors. It'll be interesting to find out why the reason why they quit.

What I found from successful Ambit reps was that they all had one thing in common- They were all committed and determined, they're willing to do whatever it took to succeed. Sure they hit a few road bumps along the way but simply moved on.

You see, Ambit is not the problem - it's marketing approach, mindset and training that most distributors never get. As a distributor if you never get the proper and effective training to market the product or service, you are never going to generate leads. And if you're having a hard time generating leads you're never going to create sales. It's that simple.

If you have no leads coming in You have no business.

The fact is that Ambit Energy has nothing to do with your business.

It all about the marketing, the way YOU promote, the way YOU approach a prospect, the way people see YOU, and the way YOU sell YOURself.

Here's something to keep in mind:

People hate to be sold but they love to buy.

Just think about it, the last time someone came up to you trying to sell you a product your first thought is "Great" what is this guy trying to sell me now" And before they can finish talking you're already saying NO. Most of the time your saying NO before you even know what they're selling.

You do this because you are immediately turned off by this approach.

Of course you are! Who wouldn't?

Or you may say something like "I don't have any money right now" just to make them leave you alone but sure enough,  30 minutes later you're spending money of stuff you probably don't even need.

You see, we as people love to buy stuff, we just don't liked to be pushed to it.

I say this because YOU as a network marketer must understand that they way you approach a prospect will determine if you make a sell or not. It's not necessarily what you're selling but how you sell it.

Remember people want to buy, but they never want to be sold.

It is your job as marketer to find those techniques that work, those techniques that make people want to buy from you.

If you can do that, Ambit Energy can be the best business opportunity out there for you. But one thing for sure, it will take on hard work, a positive attitude, persistence and a solid marketing plan to succeed.
