MLM, What to Do When They Say No – Can’t Stand The Rejection!
What happens when you are new to MLM and you have a whole load of new prospects lined up and they say no! Not just a simple no, but a HECK NO! Possibly combined with some rally bad words that we are not allowed to repeat for the purposes of this article. The worst thing you can do is take this personally, react, feel rejected or even question your sanity for getting involved in MLM in the first place. Disappointment and rejection are natural, but as an MLM distributor, you cannot afford the luxury of feeling this way. You have to remember why you got into MLM in the first place and keep that feeling alive, move onto the next prospect and eventually someone will say YES!
Just think about those times you lined up a whole load of MLM prospects and they were really excited to hear what you had to say. They showed interest, asked questions, liked what they heard and signed up. It is the Yeses that count in MLM, not the no’s, and when you face all that rejection if you remember the yeses the no’s don’t seem quite as hard.
You are in the MLM business to sign people up, you want to find leaders, not people who are half cold on the matter and say yes indecisively, these kinds of yeses will not be the kind of prospects who work the business. When you have signed up a prospect who really works their MLM business, you know you have done completely the right thing. They will also really take a good hard look at their prospects and find properly qualified people.
We are all human and the new MLM distributor will probably feel elated when they sign up a new prospect, but just as we might feel rejected and turned down by a no, it also doesn’t help to get emotional about a new sign up under you. Business is business after all and should never be taken personally. In other words, you should never let what is happening outside of you affect what is happening inside of you. You might feel that a celebration is on the cards when you get a yes, but just like when you get a no, and in MLM it is not good to react emotionally to any situation. Just remember you can never control the world around you and all you have to do is work the business consistently. MLM is still the 2-4 year plan to create true residual income but now with our system you can certainly create a substantial income while you build that residual passive income.
