Business Facts About Network Marketing

Many companies that make promises of financial freedom by offering dreams of residual income are guilty of not providing their members the proper training.  Is Network Marketing any different?  I explain.

Overview:

Network Marketing was founded in 1992. It is a network marketing company that specializes in one-to-one marketing.  With over 3 million preferred customers and 180,000 distributors and unfranchised business owners worldwide, Network Marketing has generate over 2.5 billion dollards in accumulated retail sales.

Network Marketing provides the products and services, creates the marketing materials, and handles shipping and distribution. The majority of the adminsitrative and operational tasks are handled by the company.  This allows the Network Marketing distributors to focus on serving their customers' needs and building a lucrative business for themselves.

There are no fees.  Network Marketing uses what is referred to as a Unfranchises business model, thus, eliminating the territorial restrictions that are typical of many franchise business opportunities.

The company incorporates what is called a Binomial Marketing System with the Management Performance Compensation Plan (MPCP) compensation plan.  The MPCP pays distributors weekly and allows for unlimited expansion of one's business.

Network Marketing's Mall Without Walls offers a wide variety of Network Marketing products...everything from health and nutrition to lawn and garden.  In addtion, through each distributor's web portal, distributors and customers have access to millions of products and services through Partner Stores.  These stores include Wal-Mart, Target, Staples, Home Depot, Nordstrom, and Lands' End.

Just about all of the products and services can be purchased through Network Marketing.

Each website focuses on a specific area of the business.  For instance, Transitions Lifestyle System websites contains products and information about lifestyle and and weight loss system. The Network Marketing Facts focuses on the products, the company and the one-to-one marketing.  There is also a TorchSports web site that addresses a workout supplement system.

There are specified Network Marketing training and they include retailing, prospecting, recruiting, sponsoring and follow-up.  The Network Marketing training is focused on personal contacts and one-to-one marketing.  Since the foundation of the business is based on repeat customers, this is the area of focus for most new recruits. The company does advocate using the internet and phone as a means of positioning oneself. There is even talk of offering solutions to a target market. Although the information shared is correct, no specifics discussed on how to go about doing this.

Conclusion:

Network Marketing seems to be a sound company and it should be considering it started in 1992.  The products are consummable products which means if you run your business correctly, you should have repeat customers.  And they do provide tools for their distributors, such as the websites, cd's, and periodicals, to name a few.

But the marketing trainings provided by Network Marketing appear to be slim to none.  This is not to say that one should not join Network Marketing. But, what is being implied here is that if you decide to join and you feel you need help with marketing your Network Marketing business, either find a mentor who truly has the skills to teach you, or use an online training and marketing system to teach you to use the internet to market and build a business.  There is no need to reinvent the wheel here.

There are available resources, either through individuals or systems, that can teach you how to market and build a business.  Most people fail in network marketing because they don't possess the skills and knowledge about business.  But, most people start their business knowing nothing and have gone on to create a lucrative business.   Success can happen if you are open and willing to learning new materials.  You just have to be willing to make it happen.
