Background of Network Marketing:

Network Marketing is a MLM that targets the health and wellness industry.  The company is an international manufacturer of unique health, home, and person care products.  It was foundned in 1985 and the name was taken from Network Marketing Alternifolia which produces a naturally powerful essential oil.  The oil is used in many of Network Marketing's health care products.

Network Marketing MLM has business operations not only in the United States, but also in Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, United Kingdom, Scotland, Ireland, Netherlands, Jamaica, Bahamas, Macao, Singapore, South Korea, as well as China.

Network Marketing Products:

The company offers a large variety of household goods and wellness products.  The products are said to be free of any chemicals or potentially harmful additives.  Many of the Network Marketing products are made from oils extracted from Network Marketing Alternifolia, which grows on shrubs and trees.

Network Marketing products include a large number of personal body care; such as, shower gels, shampoo, lotion, perfume, sun lotion, and shaving cream. They also carry Nicole Miller's line of skin care and cosmetics.

Other products include housekeeping products.  Essentially, the products sold are what most people currently use in their households. Network Marketing offers over 350 products.  The price is a little bit more expensive than what you would normally purchase at a drugstore.

 
Network Marketing Business Opportunity & Network Marketing Compensation Plan:

As a member of Network Marketing, you are encouraged to engage in what is referred to as "old school" marketing strategies.  Such marketing methods include handing out free samples, business cards, flyers, and brochures.

Network Marketing distributors earn their income from selling the products as well as sponsoring a new distributor.  To become a member, you pay a fee of about $90.00, which does not include setup fees.  To qualify for any payments, you have to earn 35 points per month.  Each product has points-to-value and is calculated based on this value.

To earn 35 points, you have to purchase about $80.00 worth of products. You, as a member of Network Marketing, get a 30%-40% discount. You can offset this cost by recruiting someone; their points contribute towards your points.

To truly generate a lucrative income, you will need to recruit new distributors.  It will take about 100 - 200 people to make approximately $1000.00, but this is only if they are doing what you are doing.

Conclusion:

To have success in Network Marketing is going to require you to have marketing skills in place.  Trying to build a six-figure income from friends and family is a tall order to fill.  In fact, I would go as far as to say, it is nearly impossible.  But the fact that Network Marketing is in so many different countries does give you the capability to acquire a lucrative income, but how do you reach those folks in other countries is the question?

Considering the fact that the Network Marketing business marketing training is more geared towards old marketing strategies, it is going to be difficult to market to people outside the United States.

So, what are you left with? You can generate a lucrative income from Network Marketing, but only if you possess effective marketing skills, which most people don't have starting out.  But, if you want to join Network Marketing and you are willing to learn new skills, there are marketing systems that can give you the skills you need to create a very lucrative Network Marketing business.  But, if learning new skills is not your thing, I suggest you be satisfied with the income you create by marketing to friends and family and enjoy the products.
